The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a first orthodontic evaluation around age 7. Ours is free, and if your child is not ready yet, we monitor their growth at no charge until the timing is right.
Phase 1 braces, only when they help
Phase 1 (interceptive) braces guide jaw growth, correct crossbites, and make room for adult teeth while your child is still growing. Done at the right moment, early treatment can shorten or even prevent a second phase of braces later.
We are honest about timing. Parents regularly tell us in reviews that we told them their child did NOT need treatment yet. That honesty has kept Sonoma County families coming back for three generations.
A kid-friendly, low-anxiety office
Our team specializes in anxious kids. Visits are short and positive, our office dogs are famous for calming first-visit nerves, and braces-off day ends at the Perfect Smile Club board with a balloon and a cheer.
